Sometimes I question the business sense of fashion designers. No, really. Have you ever noticed how their best items disappear for good after one season? I’m talking about those garments that fit fantastically, and always get you compliments. That’s right. You can pretty much guarantee that they’re never going to make those again.

So, if you’re like me, your wardrobe probably stretches back years, with your favorite items more than a little faded and worn out around the edges. I mean, why do you think they started selling jeans with holey knees? Because people kept wearing their best pair until they literally ripped. And then they kept on wearing them. And what about your favorite suit or dress? Better keep it in the wardrobe and bring it out once or twice a year, right? Better be careful not to spill cocktail on it, right?
