I decided to write this article because it is a subject that comes up very often on many of the forums that I visit.  Many first time parents are not sure what size baby clothes they should buy for their expected infant.

Unfortunately there is no perfect be all answer for this problem but there are most definitely some baby care pointers that can be provided.  As you know, all babies come in different shapes and sized even out of the womb.  This may sound confusing because one would think the correct size baby clothes to buy would be the newborn size.  And yes, you do need a few newborn clothes but the best size to buy enable to get the best bang for your buck is size 0 – 3 months.  I know of many parents who have had children, my self included, outgrow newborn clothes in a week or two.  This of course is disappointing since newborn is often the size of baby clothing you get during your baby shower.
